about

Growing up I always had an interest in art and creating things. Since then I’ve developed my skills, focusing on wildlife art in pencil and pastel. The conservation of our wild species holds a special place in my heart, and I’m constantly outdoors exploring the British countryside. I’ve written a little more in depth about my passion for conservation below.

Having left school at an early age due to ill health, I had no qualifications to speak of, and needed something to focus on. As a result of this, I decided to teach myself to draw in 2017. Since then I’ve gone on to be involved with the David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of the Year award for two consecutive years. I’m now working in the legal industry, and am currently studying for an Environmental and Energy Law masters having graduated with a First-class (Honours) degree in Law.

‘Neofelis’ at the DSWAY exhibition 2018

Since a young age I've always had a passion for animalscoming from a family with a strong background in conservation work, I've been fortunate enough to be inspired to pursue the goal of protecting the natural world through my art. As mentioned above, I’m lucky enough to be studying my LLM, which I plan to utilise in the area of environmental law.

In May 2018, my portrait of a Clouded Leopard, 'Neofelis', was a finalist at the David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of the Year Award. Following this, in 2019, ‘Grace’ was sold via the online exhibition, and 50% of the sale was donated directly to conservation work.
